The pandemic caused by the Coronavirus has affected our daily lives and has had significant effects on businesses and workers. The measures for reducing social contact have forced the total closure of some sectors/companies, for others the adoption of organizational measures to safeguard the health of workers, promoting smart working, imposing measures of physical separation in company premises and the use of of personal protective equipment.
We are now in Phase 2 which provides for the progressive resumption of activities within the workplace, factories, logistics warehouses and offices which will have to take measures to counter and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace. Safety Check is the modular solution of integrated digital tools for safely managing the access control of employees/visitors in public places or private companies, communicating the symptoms (in compliance with the GDPR), informing on the rules of conduct to be adopted, checking respect for the rules of social distancing.
The three available modules are the following, which can be associated with specifically designed communication kits and with the possibility of using credit access tools:

The mobile application allows you to manage employee and external access to the company, monitor the state of health through a self-certification via check-list, manage the occupation of internal spaces with the possibility of booking common areas and encourage responsible behavior by monitoring respect for interpersonal distance. It is a simple, fast and effective communication channel.
There are two versions of apps with different functions, both of which can be managed from a very intuitive back-end interface: the BASIC version allows user profiling, check-in management and the compilation of the check list to monitor the health of the employees. In addition to these features, the PRO version allows integration with the Thermo Scanner.
- THERMO SCANNER for access control
It is a device for temperature detection and facial recognition, with possible connection to the automatic opening of the doors to allow the controlled entry of employees/visitors/customers.
The device is the size of a tablet and is equipped with 2 cameras, one of which is an infrared sensor for thermal scanning. The device detects the temperature of the subject in a range between 30 and 45 degrees and if deemed suitable automatically generates a QR Code that allows the user to access.
It has an internal memory and a database aimed at containing the anonymized photographs of the company’s employees: a proprietary algorithm allows identifying the correspondence between the scan of the employee who approaches the sensor with the database of preloaded photos during the device configuration phase, all in compliance with the GDPR regulation.
The process of facial recognition and thermographic analysis takes less than 300 milliseconds. The device has LAN and WiFi connectivity, which can be activated or not according to the connection needs with the company information systems.
- SAFEX TRACER for social distancing
Use of a beacon, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a wearable device that allows you to control the distance between operators and anonymous tracking of contacts in the workplace.
These are the main features:
- If worn by an operator, it can detect other nearby devices. When two or more operators approach, the devices emit an alarm signal (via LED, sound, vibration) which increases as the distance decreases, up to a continuous alarm.
- All alarm events, including the timestamp, are saved in the internal memory of the device
- The device does not require any physical infrastructure to operate.
Coronavirus prevention communication kit proposal
We have also developed a kit of communication materials dedicated to the prevention of coronavirus to support social distancing and contact tracing, with the aim of securing collaborators and areas in contact with the public.
All products are fully customizable according to the brand guidelines: it is a special selection of ready-to-use, useful and functional products to prevent and contain contagion from Covid-19 and allow the continuation of company activities.
The aim is to maximize the engagement and awareness of customers and employees, providing immediate indications, content and tools that are able to guarantee compliance with the current provisions regarding distancing, and at the same time to transmit an image coherent and appealing of the brand and the company even in particular conditions such as the current ones, thus ensuring physical distancing but limiting as much as possible emotional and communicative.
