Monza Fuori GP returns: the city lights up to celebrate the centenary of the ‘autodrome

On Sunday, September 11, the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix will be held, an event that Spada Media Group could not possibly miss. The Milan-based agency, a longstanding partner of the City of Monza, is in fact among the organizers of the Monza Fuori GP event, an event that opened its doors on Thursday, September 8, with the first initiatives and exhibitions and that this year also celebrates the centenary of the racetrack.

From Thursday, Sept. 8 to Sunday, Sept. 11, the town will become the world’s motor capital. Spada Media Group also made a great contribution in the 2022 edition to organizing the events in the city center and setting up the booths of the automotive brands. The latest products from the different parent companies will be presented in three different areas of the cities:

Largo IV Novembre (town hall square): where Alfa Romeo Elle Motors, Jeep and Opel Autolocatelli, Citroen Effepi, Mercedes Venus and Nissan Renord will exhibit. Also here, there will be a Ferrari-branded truck with 3 Gran Turismo race cars from BestLap

Centemero Paleari Square (OVS): where DR GP Car and Renault Messa will exhibit;

St. Paul’s Square: where Peugeot Effepi will be located.

In addition, stands dedicated to Maserati, Porsche, and Bruno Giacomelli’s Alfa Romeo F1 will be set up in Trento e Trieste Square near the central stage.

“The MonzaFuoriGP brings the passion for cars into the heart of the city, among the people and the streets of Monza,” – says Federico Spada, CEO of the Agenzia – “As many as 10 brands are present this year, up from last year: Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Opel, Citroen, Peugeot, Mercedes, MG, Nissan, Dr. and Renault, with more than 40 models on display, most of them electric or hybrid. We saw a lot of crowds among the stands and a lot of desire to experience the historic center of this beautiful city, even in the evening.”

As for other initiatives related to the event:

– Welcoming all those who will reach Monza using the train outside the station, on Via Arosio, are artistic performances involving various local businesses and an information point that will provide tourists with details about events, schedules and locations and attractions in the city.

– In Piazza Duomo, however, a booth will be set up to provide information and promote Monza’s points of interest and cultural itineraries. Here there will be specialized tour guides for virtual tours explaining the history, features and cultural significance of the city’s main attractions.

– Then, in Trento e Trieste Square, there will be entertainment areas in cooperation with Radio Number One, motoring-themed play areas for the youngest children, areas for displaying race cars and a big screen to follow live coverage of practice and the race on Sunday, September 11. Also held here in the evening will be automotive-themed talk shows and concerts with guests of national and international significance. Finally, Roma Square will be dedicated to the youngest children with both playful entertainment and activities related to teaching traffic education. Planned playtime for families and adults as well.

The program at the Autodrome

The GP, which has made Monza famous in the world since 1922 and gives unique and unrepeatable emotions to millions of fans every year, is preparing to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a weekend of pure entertainment and spectacle. Tickets can be purchased directly on the Autodrome website or on the official website of the Formula 1 championship.
