Milan Digital Week 2023

A key theme of MDW 2023 will be “Developing the Limits” in the participatory process toward a digital transition that is inclusive, sustainable and ethical. Building on the growing global awareness of the environmental, social and economic constraints that are redefining our world, and in the aftermath of the entry into force of the European CSRD Directive, which will make The Sustainability Report mandatory from 2024 for an increasing number of companies, Spada Media Group, De-LAB e Tesla have decided to present a dedicated event for the occasion that will cover all these important issues.

The importance of digital data in sustainability pathways. Strategies and processes for collecting and sharing performance“: this is the title of the meeting, open to the public and upon registration, to be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Tesla‘s headquarters, Piazza Gae Aulenti 4, in Milan, starting at 6 p.m.

The talk by Spada Media Group and De-LAB

The talk will address the topic of building an effective and efficient ESG data collection process within complex organizations such as corporations. ESG data is information about the environmental, social, and governance performance of a company or financial entity, which is useful for assessing the impact and ethics of businesses. In particular, the key steps of data collection aimed at the preparation of Sustainability Reports will be explained, delving into the role of digital and the relationship with staff and external stakeholder engagement activities. Some concrete cases and winning stories of sharing ESG data and devising efficient collection monitoring processes implemented by some companies that have relied on De-LAB over the years will be illustrated. Among the guests who will speak during the conference bringing their testimony will be Cristina Rossato, Chief Compliance Officer of Lutech Spa; Elena Cortese, Compliance Officer of Lutech Spa; Vito Ria, General Manager of Hotels Fly; and Federico Piccinini, Head of Design & Innovation Pipeline Project Manager, Delcon srl.

Coordinating the discussion will be Lucia Dal Negro , founder of De-LAB : “Milan Digital Week represents a unique opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities offered by technology in the current context of global changes, of which the lens of sustainability frames complex, urgent, sometimes revolutionary ones. The event’s founding theme, ‘Developing the Limits,’ reflects the growing need to see the limit not as a brake on growth but as a barrier that preserves the balance of our communities and territories. With this in mind, the conference fits perfectly with our mission to highlight the ‘frontier’ experiences and technological approaches of citizens, companies and institutions that have been able to promote innovative solutions to go beyond, sustainably.”

Lucia Dal Negro leads the team at De-LAB, a Benefit Society and certified B-CORP™, founded in 2014 as the Italian focal point within the BOP Inclusive Business Network. Designs and implements initiatives, research and consulting in the areas of Inclusive Business and Social Innovation, targeting for-profit actors willing to invest in innovative and responsible business models. De-LAB’s goals are frugal innovation, co-designing with vulnerable actors and generating ecosystems for sustainable development, in line with the values of Purpose Economy and International Cooperation.

“Also this year we wanted to be present and give our contribution to the organization of Milan Digital Week, ” comments Lara Ricciotti, COO & Founder of Spada Media Group. Social communication is an increasingly important area for companies that want to convey their values and best tell the story of their commitment to sustainability, while also turning it into a positive and effective marketing lever. During the MDW event we will also explore these issues in depth by recounting concrete cases and experiences.”

Spada Media Group, a communications, marketing & advertising agency operates as both a media center and a consulting and digital agency. Since 2023, it has started an important collaboration with De-LAB’s team of specialists, thus becoming even more structured and vertical in the field of social communication, delving into new tools and greater expertise in developing effective campaigns with innovative and sustainable solutions.
