1. Definition of graphics (Web Design of the site)
A WordPress website is built together with the customer on the basis of specific needs, both from the graphic point of view and from the point of view of the site structure/menu tree. During an initial brief with the customer, all needs are acknowledged, and starting from these, the Web Designers create a first graphic draft of the homepage and some sub-pages, both in desktop and mobile format, which are submitted to the customer for approval.
2. Definition of the menu and creation of contents
Together with the customer, the tree structure of the site is defined, which includes all the various sections / menu items, and the type of content to be included (texts, images, galleries, specific modules, etc.). On the basis of the menu items, the customer then provides the texts and images to be included in the site. If included in the selected commercial offer, the contents can be created by our Web Content Specialists.
3. IT implementation of the WP site
Once the graphics and contents have been defined, we proceed with the actual computer programming phase of the website, carried out by professional programmers. At the end of this phase the site will be ready and it will be possible to proceed with the loading of the contents.
4. Content insertion
One might think that the work is done, but in reality we are only halfway there. Once the site has been delivered in HTML format and therefore navigable from the web, it is necessary to proceed with the population of the pages and therefore the insertion of the contents, both as regards the texts and the images or the gallery, concluding this phase with a fine-tuning of all the details together with the customer. The activity is generally carried out by a Web Content Specialist. At this point, the staging phase is over and you need to proceed with the go-live (i.e. putting the site online on the indicated domain).
5. Domain and e-mail management
In order to proceed with putting the site online, it is essential to define the domain on which to upload it:if already in the customer’s possession, a change will simply be made to the DNS of the domain, which will point to the server of the new site, in order to make it visible
if previously managed by another agency (or in other specific cases), it is possible to proceed with the transfer of the domain and the mailboxes connected to it directly on our servers
if not existing, Spada Media Group will identify some available domains and proceed with the purchase, always in agreement with the customer, with the possibility of activating dedicated e-mail boxes
6. Go-live of the new site
Once the content has been entered, the website is put online with the approval of the customer. The timing for online publication is approximately 24 hours. In the event of a domain transfer, some temporary disruptions may be encountered in the functioning of the mailboxes and it is therefore necessary to identify the most suitable time for the customer to go online.
7. Basic SEO optimization of the WordPress website
Once the site is online, a first basic SEO optimization is immediately launched, reporting the new site to the main search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) and sending the Sitemap (list of all the pages that make up the site) , but without a guarantee of positioning. The Google Analytics profile related to the new site is also activated which allows you to monitor in real time the main KPIs such as traffic, visitors, the average time spent on the site, the number of pages viewed and much more.
8. Customer training for the use of the WP site
This service consists of a training meeting on the use of the content management CMS so that the customer can be autonomous in making basic level changes to the site, such as: updating the contents of the pages (texts, images, videos and files downloadable), manage the navigation menu, news, photo galleries, contact pages, product catalog, store locator, etc. The course is carried out by a Web Content Specialist at our offices or at the customer site for a total duration of about 4 hours.
After this last phase, the activities of creating a website developed with WordPress can be considered concluded and it is possible to begin to benefit from a new high-performance and effective marketing tool.
